What you can do on the free plan

The free plan is the full product with a smaller licence bundle, not a cut-down edition. The one Full License builds the project: import a test pack from CSV, Excel or JSON, organise it into suites by business process, assign cases to testers and watch pass rates and coverage on the same dashboard the paid plans use.

The three Run Licenses are for the people doing the testing. A Run License logs in, sees only the cases assigned to it, records a pass or fail against each step and raises a defect from the failing step. That is enough to put a finance lead, a warehouse supervisor and an operations manager through a real acceptance cycle on a Business Central, SAP or NetSuite rollout without anyone sharing a login.

Defects stay linked to the test case and step that surfaced them, so the go-live conversation is about a list of open issues with owners rather than a spreadsheet tab nobody trusts. If you want to see what that looks like before signing up, the features page walks through test execution, defect tracking and reporting with short recordings.

Free plan limits and when to upgrade

The limits are the licence bundle and the project count. There is no time limit, no feature gate and no watermark on exported reports. When a second client project starts, or the fourth tester needs a login, the next plan up is Solo. Your test cases, results and defects come with you.

Free plan questions

Is the LogicHive free plan really free?
Yes. The free plan costs nothing, requires no credit card, and has no time limit. It includes 1 Full License, 3 Run Licenses, 1 project and 3 guest passes, enough to run a real UAT cycle end to end.
What is the difference between a Full License and a Run License?
A Full License can create test cases, manage projects, configure test plans, run tests and view reports. A Run License executes assigned tests, logs results and reports defects. Testers only need a Run License.
What are the limits of the free plan?
The free plan includes 1 Full License, 3 Run Licenses, 1 active project and 3 guest passes. When you need more licenses, projects or passes, paid plans start at £45 per month and you keep all your data when you upgrade.
Do I lose my data if I stay on the free plan?
No. The free plan is not a trial. Your test cases, results and reports stay available for as long as you use it.
